JANA produces various types of epoxy resins which include basic liquid resin, solid resins and solution resins. These are produced under the technical license of Huntsman Advanced Material, USA (originally obtained from Ciba-Geigy, Switzerland). JANA is the first producer of epoxy resins in the entire Middle-East region and continues to be a dominant supplier in the region. The market for epoxy resins in the region is growing rapidly encompassing applications such as paints & coatings, composites and civil engineering.

JANA has been ever-changing, adapting and evolving to meet the growing needs of the market. Starting with a name plate capacity of 20,000 MTY in 1999, JANA successfully completed expansion, increasing the capacity to 60,000 MTY.
JANA is a preferred supplier to a number of large global customers. JANA market its products directly to end-users beside reaching smaller users through its network distributors. In addition, JANA also has an agreement with the technical licensor, Huntsman Advanced Materials who buys some quantities for their own in-house consumption as well as reselling the material.
Arabian Alkali Company (SODA) was the first project developed by NAMA using state-of-the-art technology from Bertrams, Switzerland. SODA is a 50,000 MTY capacity plant designed to produce high quality caustic soda prills as well as solids from caustic soda. Currently the plant is working above its designed name plate capacity.
The basic raw material, caustic soda is obtained from SADAF, a SABIC affiliate, through a dedicated pipeline installed from SADAF to SODA’s storage facilities. NAMA has already planned for backward integration to assure security of economical feedstock supply with its third project – HASSAD, which is under construction.
Caustic Soda Prills are used as a raw material for a number of applications by a wide variety of industries. SODA is selling its product in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries besides exporting to a number of Global target markets.
