Nama Chemicals has been chosen by BMG as one of the top ten listed companies in Saudi Arabia to be nominated for the 2010 transparency award. The objective of this award is to highlight the companies that operate with a great deal of transparency within the stock market and to encourage other companies to achieve greater transparency.
Saud Algosaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Nama Chemicals declared “The selection of Nama Chemicals as one of the top ten listed companies for the nomination of this award is due to the transparency policy undertaken by our company and is the culmination of our efforts in continually informing all of our investors of our results and decisions made throughout the year.”
The nominations are made as a result of companies with the highest degree of transparency about information for investors, following the communication strategy and their commitment to include financial statements and results whether they be quarterly or annually. Companies must also make a commitment to broadcast company news and information through the company website and local and foreign media.
BMG launched this award in 2008 with the purpose to highlight the companies that are continuously working to achieve transparency within the financial market and informing their investors, financial intermediaries and the media of their results.
